BACKGROUND The Indian EdTech industry was valued at US$ 750 million in 2020 and is projected to reach US$ 4 billion by 2025 (CAGR of 39.77%).- Factors driving this growth include demand for non-academic courses from tier II & III cities and the need for personalized learning.
THE FOUNDER Byju Raveendran, hailing from a small coastal village in Kerala, initially worked as an engineer in a UK-based shipping company. His unique shortcuts helped friends crack the IIM entrance exams, earning him fame.- Despite achieving a perfect score, he rejected IIM admission, driven by a desire to provide the best education to others. Byju transitioned from teaching small classes to large auditoriums, discovering his strengths along the way.
BYGU’s a blend Byju's App: A Blend of Content, Media, and Technology Content: - BYJU's boasts a team of experienced teachers ("Rockstars") who create extensive knowledge maps for each concept.
