2. FUTURE PLANS AND FINISHED FUTURE ACTIONS: REMEMBERING CONCEPTS Verb in base form (Verbo en forma base) SEE (Ver) Verb in infinitive form (Verbo en forma infinitiva ) TO SEE (Ver) En la forma infinitiva, se coloca el TO antes de la forma base del verbo.

GENERAL FUTURE PLANS : STRUCTURE We express GENERAL future plans with the following structure … EXPECT (Esperar) HOPE (Añorar – Esperar – Tener esperanza) INTEND (Tener la intención) PLAN (Planear) A verb in INFINITIVE Examples : We hope to start a new business [ We have the future plan to start a new business ] I expect to finish my homework by 6:00 [I have the plan to finish my homework by 6:00] My mom doesn’t intend to travel to Miami [ My mother doesn’t have the future plan of travelling to Miami]

It might or might not happen .
