5. Research Design & Data Collection - Subjects: 30 tenth-grade students in Makassar. - Cycle I: STAD model implementation (Winarti, 2015). - Cycle II: PAIKEM approach (Jais, 2019). - Instruments: Pre-test & post-test (Isnada & Al Muhajir, 2023), observation sheets, student interviews.

R e s u l t s A n d A nal yst - Cycle I (STAD): - Score increased from 68 → 75; 65% met the minimum criteria. - Cycle II (PAIKEM): - Score increased to 82; 90% met the minimum criteria. - Students became more confident, active, and curious. - Active learning transformed passive behavior into participatory engagement.

Conclusion & Recommendations - Active learning significantly improves academic performance and student motivation. - Teachers should adapt STAD and PAIKEM based on student needs. - Schools must support innovation through training and resources. - Future research should explore active learning in other subjects and integrate technology.
