The candelabras depictions in tomb Al- Salamuni in Akhmim It maybe dated back to the first century C.E.

The candelabra of the NW corner is made up of a shaft with two small umbels, one placed in the poorly preserved lower part, the other in the upper part surmounted by a pair of floating stalks; the large middle umbel supports the figure of the sphinx; the candelabrum ends with a top seen in profile. The candelabra of the NE corner has a pair of symmetrical reentrant volutes starting from the small lower umbel; from the small upper umbel start two floating stalks, crowning the plateau with the central umbilicus seen in an awkward perspective .

The candelabra starting from the center of the sides are formed by a shaft with two double rings or two small umbels, on either side of a large umbel bearing a human figure. The shape of the crowning varies. The asexual human figure (Eros?) with disproportionately long arms is presented standing leaning on the left leg, she is naked and holds in each hand a ribbon coming out of the umbel and falling on the sides. None of the candelabras have the same dimensions, and the details of the representation is not identical. The candelabra placed on the side of the entrance is the shortest and is also poorly preserved, the lower and upper parts of the shaft are small. From the base of the shaft emerges a pair of symmetrical volutes. Candelabra W shows in its lower part a small umbel surmounted by a pair of re-entrant symmetrical volutes and in its upper part a small umbel surmounted by a pair of stems (?), the crowning is not preserved. The candelabra placed on the side of the entrance to the funerary chamber seems to have double rings rather than umbels, from the two emerges a pair of symmetrical volutes, the crowning is in the shape of an umbel. The E candelabra has the same elements as the W candelabra, but the part of the coronation flares upwards and seems to end in a small plate seen in profile.
