Introduction The Cardiac course is an integrative course covering some of the most common and most important information and disease processes related to the Cardiac and Cardiovascular system.
Main goal of the course Cardiac Course, designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the cardiovascular system and its associated disorders. Throughout this course, we will explore assessment of cardiac patient, look into common cardiac arrhythmia, discuss pharmacology treatment options, and emphasize on healthcare team participation in patient management.
Critical care area Critical care, also known as intensive care, is a place in every acute hospital that manages patients who are critically ill. Critical care environment needs nurse with high level of special skills such as critical thinking, decision making, competent nursing skills .
Prince Muna Center The prince Muna center within the KAUH is dedicated to providing specialized health care services for cardiac patients, it offers a variety of medical specialties and treatments, focusing on enhancing the health and well-being of patients in the region.
Prince Muna Center Located in 11 flour in KAUH It consists of 4 wings: 11 A: 24 beds 11B: 12 beds 11C: 8 CCU, 8 CICU beds 11D: Cath lab and cardiac theater.
At the end of this course, the participants will be able to: Provide the Registered Nurses with the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes required to care for the cardiac patients. Develop confidence in clinical decision-making in the critical care setting. Identify critically ill patient needs and problems. Understand respiratory therapy reasons, indications, and management of patients with cardiac disease.
Cont.. Assist and integrate knowledge from nursing science, medicine and other Sciences in nursing care for cardiac ill patient. Discuss actual experience problem in the field during course. Be familiar with the post-operative care of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, valvular repair or replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair.

It is important to detect cardiovascular disease as early as possible so that management with counseling and medicines can begin.
