Introduction – Pediatrics Bone

Causes

Symptoms Even though symptoms vary widely after experiencing a bone fracture, the most common fracture symptoms include:
pain in the fractured area
swelling in the fractured area
obvious deformity in the fractured area
not being able to use or move the fractured area in a normal manner
bruising, warmth, or redness in the fractured area

Salter–Harris fracture A Salter–Harris fracture is a fracture that involves the epiphyseal plate (growth plate) of a bone, specifically the zone of provisional calcification

Treatment Cuff and collar sling for upper limb fracture.
Strapping for fracture clavicle, fracture ribs etc. Plaster slabs plaster of Paris slab can be used to support the injured limb
Rest and non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
*K-Wire implant
