INTRODUCTION OF MOVEMENT DISORDER
The term movement disorder refers to a group of nervous system ( neurological condition) that are caused abnormal increased movement , which may be
voluntary or involuntary. Movement disorder can also cause reduced or slow mevement.
Types of movement disorder
•Atexia
•Atypical parkisonisms
•Dystonia
•Motor stereotypes
•Parkison disease
•Lewy body dementia

SYMPTOMS AND CAUSES OF MOVEMENT DISORDER
Symptoms:
•Tremor, involuntary muscles movement that Causes shaking in one or more parts of the body. Shaking may occur in hands, legs, Face and voice.
•Jerk often in response to loud Noices, certain kinds of Lightning or burst of pain.
•Spasm, contraction that may be unchanging over time Such as clenched hands twisted foot.
•Problems walking which you can see When someone with functional weakness In one leg “drags” that leg.

CAUSES
•Genetics
•Infections
•Medicines
•Damage to the brain, spinal cord or peripheral system
•Metabolic disorder
•Stroke and vascular disorder
•toxin

CASE OF DYSTONIA ( A MOVEMENT DISORDER)
Summary:
A case of 12 years old child was taken with the movement related problems such as muscles contraction, awkward posture, unusual movement, repetitive
movement, spasm (sudden painful involuntary muscle contraction). Assessments were applied on the client to examine him with physical and neurological
symptoms. BGT ( bender gastalt visual-motor test) was applied also neurological tests urine or blood test, MRI or CT scan, Genetic testing, Physical examinition,
EEG (electroencephalograme), EMG (Electromyography).
Symptoms:
•Muscles contraction
•Spasm
•Unusual reetitive movement
•Awkward posture
•Symptoms usually limited to one side of the body

Causes:
The client was normal before the brain stroke . So a sudden brain stroke causes brain clots that later develops movement related problems in form of
dystonia. CT scan shows us the brain condition. Damage to brain lead him to that movement disorder.
Examinition:
•EEG ( electroencephalogram)
•EMG (Electromyography)
•CT scan
•BGT
•Blood test
•Physical examinition ( walk a short distance)
