Crescent University Vision –The school, located in Chennai, features a distinctive red striated façade and stepped terraces. It goes beyond conventional design, incorporating ‘de-programmed’ spaces for collective work and interaction. These unconventional areas encourage transformative pedagogical experiences. The campus, bordering reserve forests and a National Highway, visually connects with nature while remaining accessible . Builtup area: 24.62% Landscape: 37.16% Open space: 38.22%
Step 1 – Establishing a connection via the site with the rest of the campus. CONCEPT
Step 2 – Raising the linear mass enhances both the openness of the building and its connection to the ground. CONCEPT
