All long distance KSRTC and inter -state buses plying along
National Highway 47 have a „Request Bus Stop‟ at Cochin
University Junction. If travelling by City Buses, the Bus stop
nearest to the Main Campus is South Kalamassery.
If travelling from the south, you may alight at Pallimukku Bus
Stop and then take a City Bus to South Kalamassery.
By Sea
The Cochin Port is situated on Willingdon Island, which faces
the City (Lakeside) Campus and is just across the adjoining
back waters.
K. INTERNATIONAL (FOREIGN) STUDENTS
International students are exempted from the requirement of
admission tests for the academic programmes of the University.
They can apply either on self -financing or through the Indian
Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) attached to the Ministry
of External Affairs, Government of India. The ICCR offers a
number of scholarships to enable International students to
pursue higher studies in Universities and other recognized
institutions of higher learning in India. Deta ils regarding
