INSTRUCTIONS Form a group Sit comfortably around the paper/kindness catcher board

Do rock/paper/scissors to determine the order of players to do a spin Player 1 will spin the bottle,which ever task the bottle cap point to he/she will do it (***a punishment will be given to those who will PASS on the task.

***punishment will be agreed upon the members of the group( a dance/song no. etc ) The game shall continue until such time that all the players had their turns spinning the bottle.

No One Can Make You Feel Inferior Without Your Consent

WHAT IS BULLYING?

Behavior that is intentional, hurtful and repeated by one or more persons. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time . BULLYING

Actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. BULLYING INCLUDES

The word “BULLY” use to mean the total opposite of what it means now . Five hundred years ago, it meant friend or family member. DID YOU KNOW

DIRECT BULLYING INDIRECT BULLYING TWO TYPES OF BULLYING

Physical – hitting, kicking, pushing, stealing, hiding or ruining someone’s things. DIRECT BULLYING

Verbal – Name Calling, Teasing, Insulting, Threats DIRECT BULLYING

When stories or rumors about a person are spread around and excluding others from the group.  INDIRECT BULLYING

FACTS ABOUT BULLYING

160,000 kids stay home from school every day due to fear of bullying  Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. 1 Out 10 Students Drop Out Of School Because Of Repeated Bullying 282,000 students are physically attacked in secondary schools each month At least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying

What should we do?

Ways to prevent bullying or support someone who’s being bullied: 1.Talk with the person being bullied. 2.Listen without making judgments. 3.Let them know you care. 4.Tell an adult you trust.

5.Take a stand as a group. 6.Don’t repeat rumors. 7.Confront bullying. It takes courage, but talking to someone who’s bullying lets them know that their actions aren’t cool.. 8.Educate!.

CONCLUSION Bullying is not A joke it’s A crime Bulling affects everyone not just the victims of bulling but, the bully’s and everyone surrounding them. Bulling has been an exceeding issue over the years , it is about time to make it STOP!!!

ACTIVITY 1

MECHANICS The class will be divided into groups Group leaders will pick a number that will signify their order (who will act first so on..)

MECHANICS The first group will act out a scenario regarding bullying and the rest of the group will guess what picture are they portraying. **2 guesses will be given to each participating group The group who can guess it right will be given 1 point.

ACTIVITY 2

MECHANICS A group is composed of 2 members: one as the Guesser and the other one who is only allowed to respond to the guesser’s question with a yes, no or maybe. 2. Time limit is 1 minutes, the timer will start once the word is revealed.

MECHANICS 3. (5 )seconds shall be added as penalty to a violation. 4. The timer stops when the group guesses the answer. Penalties shall be added to the end time. The computed end time will be the final result.

5. The group with the shortest time wins

A pledge wall is a visual representation of everyone’s commitment and unique contribution to transforming their school’s culture. It is a great way to create a shared vision and show your school’s collective determination for tackling bullying behaviour .

MECHANICS 1.Start by choosing the perfect place for your pledge wall. 2. Next, spend some time designing your wall on some scrap paper

3. Now think about materials. What will your wall be made of and how will your peers add their pledges? Get creative! 4. Make it! It’s time to source any resources you need and build your wall. 5. It’s nearly launch time. Add your own pledge before people add theirs
