Sensor Unit: Sensor unit collects information about the sensors used in washing machine.  Load check water fills into the tub. water availability check, detergent availability, door open/close, balance  check and trap check.

Unit 1: Consumer electronics 5 of 15 Concept of fuzzy logic   : “ degrees of truth” rather than the usual “true or false” (1 or 0) Boolean logic on which the modern computer is based. Fuzzy logic includes 0 and 1 as extreme cases of truth, but also includes the various states of truth in between . For example, the result of a comparison between two things could be not“clean ” or “dirty”, but“75% clean”. Fuzzy logic seems closer to the way our brains work.

Fuzzy logic controls the washing process, such as; water intake, water  temperature , wash time, rinse performance, spin speed. 2 . More sophisticated machines weigh the load 3 . Fuzzy logic control advise on the required amounts of detergent, asses  cloth material type and water hardness and also check whether the  detergent is powder or liquid form. 4 . Some machines even learn from past experience and adjusting them to  minimize running costs. 5 . Most fuzzy logic machines feature "one touch control” equipped with energy saving features and these consumers less power.

Unit 1: Consumer electronics 10 of 15 Bar codes QR codes Barcodes symmetrical representation data by varying widths and spacing of parallel lines and may be referred as linear QR code has lack square arranged in square grid on a white background It is one dimensional(1D) and they are capable of up to 20 characters It is two dimensional(2D),capable of storing data horizontally and vertically It carry less information It carry up to 100 times more amount of information compare to bar code It requires more printing area It requires less printing area and it is capable of being read in 360 degree It is decoded with special optical scanner It can scan with Smartphone and immediately have acess to lot of information electronically. Bar codes QR codes It has more error margin Error margin ranges from 7-30%
