Case Study Jugnu ( Jugnoo ) Solutions – Dastarkhawn Delights. Jugnoo Solutions, a Karachi-based startup with a Hacker, Hustler, and Hipster, launched a food delivery app called " Dastarkhwan Delights." A few months later, a global competitor entered the Pakistani market with a massive marketing budget, threatening their customer base.
How the Team Responded: Immediate Communication: The team held a transparent meeting to discuss the threat and their vulnerability. They did not panic but rather saw an opportunity to pivot. Adaptability: They chose to pivot their strategy to focus on a unique niche: home-cooked meals from local chefs and artisans, a market segment the larger competitor did not serve. Clear Roles in Action: The Hipster redesigned the app to highlight the stories of local chefs. The Hacker built a new feature to manage the logistics of home-based chefs. The Hustler began forming partnerships and launching targeted marketing campaigns.
Roles The Hacker: This is the technical expert. They are responsible for building the product, writing the code, and solving the complex technical problems that a startup faces. The Hustler: This is the business expert. They focus on sales, marketing, business development, and strategy. They are the ones who find the customers and turn the vision into a viable business. The Hipster: This is the design and user experience expert. They focus on making the product beautiful, intuitive, and easy to use. They are the voice of the customer, ensuring the product is something people will love.
