2. What is Child Labour? • Child labour means when children are made to work at a young age . • It stops them from going to school and enjoying their childhood . • It is harmful to their body and mind.

3. Child Labour in Pakistan • In Pakistan, millions of children are working . • Most of them are between 5 and 14 years old . • They work in homes, shops, factories, farms, and brick kilns.

4. Why Do Children Work? • Poverty – their families are poor . • No free or nearby school . • Parents force them to work . • Lack of strict law enforcement.

Laws Against Child Labour • There are laws in Pakistan to stop child labour : - The Employment of Children Act, 1991 - Punjab Restriction on Employment of Children Act, 2016 - The Constitution of Pakistan (Article 11: Prohibition of child labour) - Factories Act, 1934 (restrictions on child work ) THEN QUESTION IS THAT IF THERE ARE MANY LAWS AGAINST THIS SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM: So the problem is that: . There are strict laws is in Pakistan but there is no strict implication in Pakistan. • But these laws are not always followed. • Government needs to do more.

6. How Child Labour Affects Children • Children miss school . • They feel tired and sick . • Some get injured or abused . • They remain poor when they grow up.

7. Who is Helping? • UNICEF, ILO, and other groups help children . • They provide education and safety . • Some NGOs also teach and protect children.

8. How to Stop Child Labour • Give free and quality education . • Help poor families with jobs and money . • Strictly apply laws against child labour . • Awareness through TV, schools, and media.
