Once upon a sunny day, in a big green field, there was a busy ant and a cheerful grasshopper. The ant worked all day, gathering food for the winter, while the grasshopper played and sang in the warm sunshine. When the chilly winter arrived, the ant had plenty of food stored up, but the grasshopper had nothing. It shivered with cold and hunger, wishing it had prepared like the ant. The grasshopper went to the ant and asked for help. The ant said, "I worked hard to gather food when it was plentiful. You should have done the same." The grasshopper realized its mistake and promised to work hard next time. But it was too late for that winter. Read the story about the Ant and the Grasshopper, then tell it again in your own words.
