Mariyam Fatima as well as our principal for providing me this wonderful opportunity to do this art integrated project on the state of Odisha The opportunity helped me to improve my research skills and helped me to learn new things about odisha like Flora,Fauna,National Park,wildlife sanctuary and Tribalism .

3. Objectives and Outcomes Knowledge about Odisha. The goal of art integration is to increase knowledge of a general subject area while concurrently fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the fine and performing arts. Development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking , and inventiveness. Helps to understand the importance of bio diversity , tribes and temples etc . It makes children very enthusiastic , explore their mind , integration etc .

5. Flora And Fauna Of Odisha Odisha (Orissa) is immensely wealthy state at its flora and fauna. The emergence of a big range of flora and fauna of Odisha(Orissa) is the answer of the diverse topography of the state. About 38% of Orissa’s total land comes under forest cover. The state possesses about 7,000 species of flora which include the 120 species of Orchids and 63 species of Mangroves. The forests of the state house plenty of Teak and Bamboo trees. wildlife sanctuary in Odisha is one of the most sought-after places to spot some exotic animals such as Indian hare, spotted deer, hyena, leopards, and more.

6. National Parks Simlipal National Park in Odisha is in a beautiful and scenic town. Situated in Mayurbhanj, it once used to be a hunting ground for the rulers of the province. Simlipal is the largest national park in Odisha and is also considered as one of the principal tiger projects in India. The area is rich with dense forests, striking meadows, startling waterfalls and beautiful rivers. It is blessed with great bio-diversity and huge varieties of fauna that make it a great place to engage in wildlife sightseeing! Simlipal Reserve is home to more than 1000 varieties of plants and a large variety of wildlife.

7. Bhitarkanika national park in Odisha is regarded as one of its kind in Asia and is home to one of the rarest species of flora and fauna. It is spread on a sprawling area of 650 sq. kms and has rich marine vegetation, salt tolerant varieties of trees and plants, rivers and creeks. The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary attracts myriad of migrant species like the Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, Asian Open Bill, Black Ibis, Egrets, Darters and many other species from Central-Asia and Europe. Various other animals which call this sanctuary their home are Indian Python, King Cobra, and Rhesus Monkey etc.

8. Wildlife Sanctuary The Chilika wildlife sanctuary , which is a paradise on Earth for bird watchers and nature lovers, is the largest internal salt water pond that can be found in Asia. The pear-shaped lake is dotted with a few small islands and has fisheries and salt pans around its shore. This wildlife sanctuary in Odisha is nestled in the heart of the coastal state and extends from Puri district in the north to Ganjan district in the south, and is separated from the Bay of Bengal by a 60 kilometres long narrow strip of sand-flats and marshy islands.

KONDH: KondH is one of the largest tribe in Odisha who worship hills, nature, and streams. The people of Kondh tribe have an essential knowledge of the mountains, trees, forest , and plants. SAURAS: Sauras is one of the ancient tribes in India that also find their mention in the Hindu epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana. The tribe has a unique shamanic culture And its people are the great craftsman of Saura paintings. SANTHALS: The great fighters during British regime in India and also most fun-loving ones are the people of the third largest tribe of India - Santhal. Music and dance are activities which are loved the most by Santhals. GONDS: A warrior tribe that resides in the hills of Koraput, Balangir, Sunderbagh, Kalahandi, and Sambalpur is Gonda. Not just India’s but Gond is one of the largest tribes in South Asia.

Today, many of the Oraon people are shifted to Indian metro cities. KOYAS: Amongst the more than 60 Odisha’s tribes, Koyas is one of the top tribes with rich ancient tradition, culture, art, and customs. Apart from Malkangiri, Odisha, the chivalrous people of Koya tribes also resides in some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Chattisgarh. PARAJAS: Devotees of numerous gods and goddess, the Prajas are the inhabitants of forests and hills. The people of this beautiful community have a different passion and love for music and dance and are mainly agriculturists. GADAVA: Said to be the oldest and ancient tribe in Odisha that traces its history from Ramayana era is Gadava. It is also the most colourful tribe that sustain their livelihood through agriculture, hunting, and fishing .

12. Slogan On Forest 1. Let’s prove that we are humans at least by not ruining life which is dependent on those trees. 2. A tree that stays keep flood away, so take care of the tress as they are collective property. 3 . A tree stays grounded connected with their roots. Turn over a new leaf and bends before they break. Enjoys there natural beauty and keeps growing. Be like a tree. 4. Every part of the world will be green if every heart of the human is green, so for your next generation to grow tall like trees plant more of them. 5. He who plants a tree loves others beside himself as gardening is not our whole life, but it makes our life whole .

Saving a tree means you save a life, and you plant a tree, you do plant a life. 9. Love your life, plant more trees until their leaves fall off and then encourage them to try again next year. Love the trees. 10. One can survive without family, but not without tree as they are one family! one child! To save more and plant more trees

14. Brief Report Odisha has a wide range of bio diversity . It includes variety of flora and fauna . To conserve this bio diversity, various national parks ( S implipal )and wildlife sanctuaries are present . In the forests of Odisha, a number tribes are residing. The protection and conservation of this rich bio- diversity is very essential for the survival of human beings and other species too.
