•Don’t do anything that might endanger yourself or
others.
•Treat all members of the school community with
respect and courtesy.
•Value the ideas and opinions of others.
•Be responsible with property and belongings.
•Embrace the learning opportunities presented…

Your School Rules / Expectations

Positive Classroom Behaviour
•Be prompt
Be on time and ready to learn when class begins.
•Be prepared
Have the correct equipment and know due dates.
•Be interested
Listen attentively and engage actively.
•Be productive
Make good use of class time and always do your
best.
•Be sensible
Behave responsibly and respectfully in class.

ICT Classroom Rules
•Wash your hands before using the computers!
•No food and drink allowed in the classroom.
•Your bags should be neatly placed on the table Infront of the
computer room.
•Only used your assigned computers.
•No ‘inappropriate use’ of computers / software.
•Unsurprisingly… No playing computer games!
•Do not tamper with the equipment
•Phones switched off / silent and put away.
•Tidy your work area at the end of the lesson.
•DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE EQUIPMENT!
Deliberate damage to any ICT equipment will be
charged at the student’s expense!!

How many Health & Safety fails can you find?
(Hint: There are more than five!)

•Bring your workbook, school diary and
stationery (e.g. pens, pencils, erasers, etc.) to
class.
•Save all your work on your student drive not on
the desktop or my documents.
•Password - so you can access the school
network

I will trust you until you give me reason to
do otherwise!
I will respect you and help you to resolve problems,
both in and out the classroom.
I will mark your work quickly and provide helpful
feedback to improve your work.
I will work with you to help you meet your goals
I will provide extra help outside of lesson time if
you ask for it.

iii.Contains both letters and numbers.

2)In your home directory or student area create
the following directories / folders.
Assignment #1 Assignment #2 Assignment #3
3)Now create a slide in PowerPoint to remind
you of one of our ICT classroom rules, and
then be prepared to show it to your teacher.
