Ethics It is a science in which we study about moral duties which prepared by particular group and members of profession and follow by all. PHARMACEUTICAL CODE OF ETHICS It is prepared by pharmacy council of India for pharmacist. It guide to pharmacist regarding to how behave with Patients and society.

Pharmacist in relation to his job Scope of Pharmaceutical services:- Pharmacist have engaged in hospital should supply medicine correctly and carefully Conduct of pharmacy:- Pharmacist should be prepared dose of drug according to prescription Handling of prescription:- Pharmacist should not be change facial expression when receive the prescription from patient Handling of drug:- In hospital pharmacy, various medicines available so pharmacist should be proper maintain the drug Apprentice pharmacist:- When new pharmacist has come for practical training after completion of the academic training. Pharmacist oath I swear by the Code of Ethics of Pharmacy Council of India in relation to the community and shall act as an integral part of the health care team. I shall uphold the laws and standards governing my profession. I shall strive to perfect and enlarge my knowledge to contribute to the advancement of pharmacy and public health. I shall follow the system, which I consider best for pharmaceutical care and counselling of the patient. I shall endeavor to discover and manufacture drugs if quality to alleviate the sufferings of humanity. I shall hold in confidence, the knowledge gained about the patients in connection with my professional practice and never divulge unless compelled to do so by the law. I shall associate with organizations having their objectives for the betterment of the profession of Pharmacy and make a contribution to carry out the work of these organizations. While I continue to keep this oath inviolate, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and practice of pharmacy respected by all, at all times. Should I trespass and violate the oath, the reverse be my lot.”
