LEARNING TARGETS
UNIT STANDARDS CONTENT are able to demonstrate understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text types serve as means of valuing other people; also, how to use processing information strategies, different forms of adverbs and conditionals for him/ her to play an active part in a Chamber Theater presentation. PERFORMANCE are able to proficiently play an active part in a Chamber/Readers Theater presentation through employing effective verbal and non- verbal strategies based on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery, Facial Expressions, Style and Body Movements or Gestures. FORMATION are able to perceive greatness in oneself and others by showing empathetic care to others.
COMMUNICATIVE STYLES
FROZE N Style A very formal style not really intended to give message but to allow a reader to find many meaning for oneself Does not require any feedback from the audience a very formal style whose quality is static, ritualistic, and even be archaic Usually uses long sentences with good grammar and vocabulary Prayers Pledges Oath The Preamble

Think of It! As you walked along the hallway, you saw Father Juan and Father Pedro. How would you greet them using a casual style with the application of respect? Every first Friday of the month our school conducts the Students` Mass. As a student of CCCS, what communicative style is practiced in this celebration and in what part of the mass it can be seen?
LEARNING TARGETS derive the idea presented in the video; share opinions based on the presented in the video; act the communicative styles; explore the functions of the communicative style; identify the right communicative styles in speaking situations; and emphasize the communicative skills in having a conversation.

( A script is not required but the scenes/dialogue should be spontaneous. ) Be sure to make your scene CLEAR because the other groups will have to guess what COMMUNICATIVE STYLE was used. Preparation time: 3 min utes Presentation: 1 minute
INSTRUCTIONS ds 1. Participants (representatives of each group) act out the drawn scenario using the given speech style. 2. The other group has to guess the act and speech style being used.
