2. COMMON CAUSES OF
ACCIDENTS AT SCHOOLS

3. bulling and assaults
→both bullying and assaults are common at schools,and a school cannot
be held accountable for every conflict.However a school can be found
accountable for negligence if it failed to properly provide supervision to
students at the time of incidents if they had the knowledge that the
aggressor is a trouble maker and they took no action .

4. slip and fall accidents
→water and debris in bathrooms,slippery floors from cleaning,drinks
spilled on floora just to name a few are the main causes of of slip and fall
accidents.All these accidents can lead to students to suffer very serious
injuries such as broken bones;spinal injuries;head concussion etc

5. school bus accidents
→negligence from bus drivers can cause serious traffic accidents which may
result in injuries to students when they are on the bus or when they are
pedestrians.Driver's negligence;lack of training by school district or bus
maintenance issues are some of the leading causes of bus accidents.some
school busses may not have seatbelts and some students just don't wear
seat belts,which makes injuries obtained from accidents even worse

6. playground accidents
→playground equipment gets alot of wear and tear due to daily use and the
weather.When it is not replaced when necessary or has a design of
manufacturing defect,children an suffer devastating injuries in a fall or
other accidents while playing.

7. food poisoning
→when cafeteria do not properly prepare and store food or an outside
vendor sells food,children may become seriously ill from food poisoning.

8. sports activities
→some sports include risks of injuries and student who voluntarily engage
in these activities may not be able to sue the sschool for their injuries
.however is school does not meet the school safety measures the school
may be held accountable for the injuries the students obtained
