3. Keyboard : It is most widely used input device. There are four types of function keys: 1. Numeric keys : 0-9 2. Alphanumeric keys:a –z and A-Z 3. Function keys: F1–F12 4. Special character keys : #,$,%,&,*,@,<,>,…. Etc.

4. Mouse: Mouse is most popular pointing device It is connected to cpu It has two or three buttons and a scroller

5. Light pen: It is also a pointing device which as a pen-like structure The pen is placed on a screen of the monitor that sends light signals .

6. Scanner: It is input device that scans documents, images etc. Flat-bed scanners are commonly used. They are similar to photo copy machines.

7. Web camera: Web cameras are most common videos capturing devices connected to computer networks, often using a USB ports. Now most of the computers manufacturing companies have begun building web cams directly into laptops and desktop screens. This eliminates that need for a external USB ports .

8. Joy stick : Joy stick is a input deice that controls the moment of a digital object on a computer .

9. Barcode reader: A machine-readable code in the form of number and pattren of parallel lines of varying widths printed on a commodity and used especially for stock control .

10. Micro phone : A micro phone is a that converts sound waves into electrical signals .
