6. Bus topology is a type of network topology in which all devices are connected to a single cable called a "bus." This cable serves as a shared communication medium, allowing all devices on the network to receive the same signal simultaneously. BUS TOPOLOGY

7. ADVANTAGE DISADVANTAGE If the common cable fails, then the whole system will crash down. 2. Adding new devices to the network would slow down networks. Coaxial or twisted pair cables are mainly used. 2. The cost of the cable is less compared to other topologies. Bus topology advantage & disadvantage

8. In this topology, nodes are connected to a central node, which is then connected to one or more nodes at a higher level, and this pattern continues to expand outward like a tree. TREE TOPOLOGY

12. Mesh topology is a type of network topology where devices are interconnected to multiple other devices, forming a mesh-like structure. MESH TOPOLOGY

13. ADVANTAGE DISADVANTAGE 1. Huge amount of cabling and I/O ports required. 2. Installation and reconnection is difficult. Mesh topology is robust. ·Provides privacy & security. 2. Fault identification and isolation is easy. Mesh topology advantage & disadvantage
