Computer Generated Animation, Interactive Poetry, and Code Poetry John Carlo Alipan
Computer Generated Animation
Animated poetry carries extra appeal, as it takes well written work and gives it a visual representation to go with it. The visual aspect helps the audience get immersed in the poem and brings out the emotional expression the writer is trying to portray. Animation does this well, as it can work with many different art forms and aesthetics. Computer-generated animation is a digital form of traditional stop motion animation techniques that would use drawings or scale model puppets. This form of animation dates back to the magic lanterns of the 17th century, where a mirror would direct candlelight through glass slides to project the illustration. Placing slides together created a sense of movement, and was the first instance of “moving pictures.”
Interactive Poetry
Interactive poetry refers to forms of poetry in which multiple people can interact and create the work together, or that allow for interaction by the reader of a poem . There are also forms of interactive poetry that can be created in an interactive and digital medium, which can allow a reader to interact with the poem beyond simply reading it .

Code poetry: Poems written in programming languages
Although made for communication with computers, it does not mean that Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, CSS or HTML should not be used for poetic word flow and rhymes, too. That is exactly what some web developers have created along the way, while delving into the world of dots, slashes, brackets, numbers, structures, and algorithms . Web developers can surely relate to their fellow coders and their way of thinking, but not only the programming masters can enjoy the aesthetics of code . Code poetry can be processed by machines and by humans.
