Aspectos Climaticos Os principais climas do continente africano são: equatorial, predominante na região centro-oeste e próximo à linha do Equador; tropical , que domina o centro e sul do continente; desértico , localizado no norte (Saara) e no sul (Kalahari), com alta aridez; mediterrâneo , encontrado em trechos do extremo norte e sul do continente, com invernos chuvosos e verões quentes; semiárido , A altitude e as latitudes mais ao sul contribuem para a ocorrência de um clima semiárido com temperaturas mais baixas e frio de montanha, É encontrado nas áreas mais altas do continente, como a cordilheira do Drakensberg , na África do Sul, e regiões como o Kilimanjaro.

3. Religião Nativas: 15% ou menos. Islã: 40-45%. Cristianismo: 45-50%.

Regionalisação do Continente A África é regionalizada levando-se em consideração o critério de localização geográfica dos países em relação ao continente. outra forma, utilizando o critério de avaliação das características étnicas e culturais da população africana, com o objetivo de melhor compreender sua realidade histórica e socioeconômica. setentrional forte concentração populacional no litoral do Mar Mediterrâneo. As condições naturais permitem desenvolver uma rica agropecuária, além de possuir ricas jazidas de petróleo e de outros minerais. A atividade industrial é mais desenvolvida em alguns países, como o Marrocos e o Egito. Ocidental Inclui países como Nigéria, Mali e Mauritânia, com características variadas e desafios de instabilidade política em algumas áreas. Central Caracterizada por vastas florestas tropicais (como a da Bacia do Congo), riquíssima biodiversidade e desafios ligados à pobreza e conflitos. Meridional A África do Sul se destaca pela economia mais desenvolvida do continente, que tem sido marcada pela história do apartheid e independência tardia Oriental A economia é baseada na agricultura e no turismo(Kilimanjaro), mas alguns países enfrentam instabilidade política.

África Saariana (Norte da África) Características: Região ao norte do continente, marcada pela presença do Deserto do Saara, influências culturais e linguísticas do mundo árabe e islâmico, e laços históricos com o Oriente Médio e a Europa. 2. África Subsaariana Características: Área ao sul do Deserto do Saara, com grande diversidade de povos, religiões, paisagens e economias.

A Região do Sahel Localizada na parte do continente africano que separa o Deserto do Saara das Savanas, Sahel é uma das regiões com mais conflitos envolvendo questões sociopolíticas e econômicas do Planeta. Transição cultural e geográfica entre norte e sul Países mais pobres do continente. Instabilidade e presença de grupos extremistas. Area com risco de desertificação

8. ÁFRICA DO SUL E O APARTHEID O apartheid foi um sistema oficial de segregação racial implantado na África do Sul entre 1948 e 1994. Entre os anos de 1958 e 1978 essa politica se agravou, classificando os negros em diferentes grupos étnicos e linguísticos.

9. ÁFRICA DO SUL E O APARTHEID Características principais do apartheid: Separação entre brancos e não brancos (negros, mestiços e indianos). Leis que proibiam casamentos mistos e o convívio entre raças. Áreas públicas (praias, ônibus, escolas, hospitais, bairros) eram divididas por cor de pele. Negros não tinham os mesmos direitos políticos , não podiam votar e eram obrigados a viver em áreas específicas chamadas bantustões .
