Lighting/overall tone from appearance The lightness and brightness of these magazine covers bring a feeling of freshness, cleanliness, happiness and in some cases youthfulness. In a lot of bright (high-key) images, contrast is minimal, in order to avoid distraction and harshness. These covers have strong colour in places which pop against the backgrounds, adding a bit of an edge to the cover, whilst maintaining the overall mood of the magazine.
Cover lines and masthead In various street fashion magazines, on the front cover the masthead is typically given bold and bright colours in order to contrast or complement with the overall dress of the models. In these magazines there are a lot of coverlids given on the cover page which suit the colour schemes.
body language The angles and shots taken for thee magazines are shots showing more of the models body. This can be known as a full shot or mid shot and they are used to show more body gestures. These models are looking directly into the camera, in order to attract the audience and successfully promote what they are selling/advertising.
clothing and colour schemes The background colours are light. Shots appear to be taken outside and shows expensive, luxurious styles due to the chosen outfit and posture. These covers previously shown do not tend to have shark contrasting colours, they typically consist of pastels, greys, and a bold bright- coloured masthead. Therefore, what the model is wearing suits the colour scheme well.
