Consent granted to use the work of others.

T his term means to give credit to the creator of the image or other content.

A nonprofit organization that promotes the creative reuse of intellectual works, whether owned or in the public domain, through the use of licenses that define the rights copyright holders choose to retain and those uses that may be made of copyrighted works without prior permission of the copyright holder.

Content that is available for anyone to use. The copyright is not owned or controlled by anyone.

The exclusive rights given by law for a certain term of years to an author to publish, print, and sell copies of his original work. It generally lasts for the lifetime of the author plus 70 years.
