WHAT ARE WASTES THAT CAN BE FOUND AT HOME, IN SCHOOL AND IN THE COMMUNITY

There are different kinds of waste that can be found in our home, school and in our community

So we need to segregate the waste materials in our home, school and our community

Direction: Put the waste materials in their right trash bin.

1.How will you know that waste is biodegradable? non-biodegradable? 1.How will you know that waste is biodegradable? Or Non-biodegradable?

Biodegradables are those can easily decompose or decayed. While non-biodegradable are those waste materials that will not decompose or decayed without using chemical or it need to be process for proper waste management.

1.How will you know that waste is biodegradable? non-biodegradable? 2. How can you lessen the amount of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste at home? In school? In the community?

We can lessen our waste materials by using the 5 R. Reduce, Reused, Recycle, Refuse, and Repaired

Activity2 : Classify other waste materials as: solid waste, water waste, hazardous waste, bio medical/health care waste, and reusable and recyclable materials. Knowing the type of waste makes it easy to segregate and easy to dispose off.

It will make our community clean and healthy to live by.

Segregation of waste at home, in the community and in school, helps us to make it more beautiful, clean, and healthy to live by.

There are 4 waste segregation. The Non-biodegradable, Biodegradable, Recyclable, and Hazardous.
