What’s in the Database? http://www.ithenticate.com/content
Why would something not be in the database? Not all publishers are CrossRef members Not all CrossRef members participate in CrossCheck: http://www.crossref.org/ crosscheck_members.html Indexing needs to be enabled Timing – usually a few weeks between publication and indexing Needs a CrossRef DOI
Indexing via as-crawled URLs Details at: http://www.crossref.org/ crosscheck_indexing.html Involves inserting a full-text link directly to the full-text into the CrossRef metadata so that iParadigms can find that and go direct to the full-text, rather than being redirected to it from the landing page. These can be deposited as part of the full CrossRef deposits, or as a resource-only deposit. You can also upload this information for your existing DOI deposits by uploading a . csv file containing your DOIs and the associated full-text links: http ://help.crossref.org/as-crawled-csv-upload . An option to add this will also be added to the Web Deposit form for publishers who use this deposit method. If you have any questions about depositing this information, please contact [email protected] .
