Here are some examples of EFL and ESL standard evaluation curricula used in higher education in Indonesia: 1) TOEFL (Test
of English as a Foreign Language), 2) IELTS (International English Language Testing System), 3) CEFR (Common European
Framework of Reference for Languages), 4) Portfolio Assessment, and 5) Performance-Based Assessment.

Theuseofstandardevaluationmethodssuchasplacementtests,proficiencytests,formativeandsummativeassessments,self-
assessment,peerassessment,andprogramevaluationhelpstoensurethatlanguagelearningoutcomesareachievedandthat
