13. Hacking Hacking in simple terms means illegal intrusion into a computer system without the permission of the computer owner/user.

Cyber Crime Rises Rapidly in Pakistan The cyber crimes of multiple kinds in Pakistan have increased by five times over the past four years According to CCU a branch of FIA 62 cases were reported to the unit in 2007, 287 cases in 2008 Ratio dropped in 2009 In 2010 more than 312 cases were registered in different categories of cyber crimes. 15. LAWS OF CYBER CRIME IN PAKISTAN Act no. XVII of 1996 an act to provide for re-organization of telecommunication system . Law approved in 2002 related to cyber crime. Pakistan’s cyber crime bill pass in 2007 by the MINISTRY OF LAW JUSTICE AND HUMAN RIGHTS.

20. Conclusion We have Cyber crime law but unfortunately its not implemented like other laws. Internet is not being widely used in country except large cities. Lack of awareness about the law. Only 10 % of cases are reported. Confusion about cyber crime & frauds.

21. Recommendation Implementation of law should be compulsory. Workshops & seminars to prevail awareness. Strong actions against criminals. Tight Security. Install Anti virus & anti spam softwares
