Central concepts in practice When making the learner the director of the learning process we put these concepts into practice by: focussing on metacognitive strategies using learners ’ strengths in consensus helping each other , staying together providing feedback: reflection , short term and long term prospect.
Starting from the lesson example: Children’s rights and writing letters or pamphlets Read the lesson. Choose 3 x 3 combinations of ‘What, How and Asking Help and feedback’ Try to imagine what your students will do. What are the conditions for the last part of the lesson: 3) Write a letter or a pamphlet. Write these conditions down for yourself. Homework : Lesson example
