DELETION
1.Deletion occur when nucleotides are left out of gene.
2.They also usually cause a shift in reading frame that will ultimately
truncate the protein.
3.Deletion can be caused by errors in chromosomal crossover during
meiosis.

DNA, which contains many hundred or thousands of base
pairs.
The top string represents the original strand of DNA, while
the bottom strand lacks the nucleotide pair removed by the
deletion mutation.
