Remember  the staff has five lines and four spaces  each line or space on the staff has a specific pitch or tone

Remember the name of each pitch or tone is derived from the first seven letters of alphabet: A,B,C,D,E,F, and G  the exact pitch or tone of a note is determined by another musical symbol called the clef

Remember The most familiar one is the treble clef or G-clef  Each pitch name has an equivalent so-fa syllable

Evaluation (10 minutes) Write the pitch name of the note to complete the word.

Assignment Study the pitch names of F-clef.
