Mouse Was Invented In during 1960’s. By Douglas Engalebart . Mouse can be used to control and manipulate cursor movement on monitor Types of Mouse: Mechanical Mouse Optical Mouse Wireless Mouse
Keyboard Was Invented By Christopher Latham Sholes A Keyboard is a human interface device which is represented as layout of button or keys. Features of keyboard:- Typewriter Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. Special Purpose Keys. Toggle And Combination Keys.
Optical input devices that uses light as a source of input. They eliminate the need for manual entry of data; thus accuracy increases. Types of Optical Input Devices: Scanner Barcode Reader
Audio input devices records the analog sound and convert it into digital form for further processing. Types Of Audio Input Devices. Voice Recognition Microphone Music Instrument
Video Input Devices are used to entering full motion video recording into a computer.
Monitor was invented in 1897 By Karl Ferdinand Braun. A computer monitor or a computer display is an electronic visual display for computers. A computer monitor is an electronic device that shows pictures for computers. Monitors often look similar to televisions. There are three types of monitor: C.R.T Monitor L.C.D Monitor L.E.D Monitor

ACTIVITY
ACTIVITY : PICTURE IDENTIFICATION Student will be group into 3. Each group must select their team leader and collaborator. Pictures of the different computer devices (Output/Input) will be shown on the screen. They are going to classify these according to their types and functions or uses. Pictures will be pasted on a given sheet of manila paper. Their collaborative output will be posted on the board and will be delivered by their group representative. Performance task will be evaluated using the R UBRICS
