Treatment General management of viral encephalitis includes monitoring and maintenance of the airway and of adequate oxygenation, hydration, and nutrition Antiepileptic drugs for seizures ICP treatments with either mannitol or steroids Varatharaj A. Encephalitis in the clinical spectrum of dengue infection. Neurology India. 2010 Jul 1;58(4):585.

prognosis

SUmmary Dengue encephalitis, though a rare diagnosis, should be considered a differential in cases of febrile encephalopathies, especially at the times of a dengue epidemic. The primary features of dengue encephalitis are fever, headache, reduced consciousness, and seizures, although other neurologic manifestations may be evident Self-limiting  supportive treatment
