1. Monitor First of all we will learn what is a monitor. A computer monitor is an output device that displays information in pictorial or textual form. A discrete monitor comprises a visual display, support electronics, power supply, housing, electrical connectors, and external user controls.

CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) A Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitor is  an analog display device that creates a visible image on the screen by directing three electron beams over millions of phosphor dots to make them light up . In a color monitor, the screen is composed of numerous stripes of alternating red, green, and blue phosphor dots, which get activated by the electrons and combine to make countless different hues.

4. LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitor is a type of flat-panel display screen that uses liquid crystals in its primary form of operation. It is commonly used in computer monitors, televisions, and other electronic devices. LCD monitors work by blocking or allowing light to pass through a matrix of pixels, which are arranged in a grid-like pattern. This technology has replaced traditional cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors, which were once considered to have better picture quality.

LED(Light Emitting Diodes) An LED monitor, also known as a light-emitting diode monitor, is  a type of flat-panel computer monitor or television that uses an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as pixels for a video display . The LEDs are used as the backlighting source, providing a brighter and more energy-efficient display compared to traditional LCD (liquid-crystal display) monitors.

OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) An OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) monitor is  a type of flat-panel display that uses organic compounds to produce light when an electric current is applied . Unlike LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitors, OLED monitors do not require a backlight to function. Instead, each pixel is made up of three sub-pixels, one for each primary color (red, green, and blue), which emit light when an electric current is applied.

7. Plasma A plasma monitor is  a type of flat-panel display that uses tiny cells filled with electrically charged ionized gases to produce images . These cells, also known as pixels, are made up of three sub-pixels, each emitting a specific color (red, green, and blue) to create a wide range of colors. The plasma monitor uses an electric current to excite the gas, causing it to emit ultraviolet light, which is then absorbed by phosphors to produce visible light.
