Having snorkellod with these ft, friendly giants in Florida in the past, it became a necessiy
me to come up with an origami manatee design.

ln my fist several attempts, | was never happy with the design of the upper lips. Here I
focussed on a way to fold the upper lps and provide references. There is however, sil shape
ing required to achieve a nice fat but streamlined body, but most references are given for his
too, twas also important to have a closed-back design, with the suggestion ofthe flipper:
