Diagramme psychrométrique

L’état de l’air atmosphérique (air humide) à une pression donnée est complètement
déterminé par la connaissance de deux gradeurs intensives indépendantes. Les autres
grandeurs peuvent être calculées à partir des différentes équations développées pour
cette raison.
Le diagramme psychrométrique est basé sur ces équations et permet d’éviter ces calculs.
C’est un diagramme très utilisé dans plusieurs applications telles que le séchage et le
conditionnement d’air. Le diagramme psychrométrique est établi pour une pression
donnée. Celui fourni en annexe est pour != 1%&'.
Les caractéristiques essentielles d’un tel diagramme sont illustrées dans la figure ci-
dessous.

Température sèche, (=> (axe horizontal (abscisse)).

Température humide, (?>(°+). Les iso-lignes de température humide (-@A=./&0),
sont des lignes droites inclinées
-

Humidité absolue, 1 (axe vertical (ordonnée)), certains diagrammes comportent aussi
un axe vertical en !B. A P fixée, il y a une correspondance directe entre !B et 2 ;2=
#.%!! 'C

Humidité relative, 3. Les iso-lignes de l’humidité relative (4=./&0) sont des
courbes qui augmentent de droite à gauche. A l’extrémité gauche, l’iso-ligne 4=
100 % représente la ligne de saturation. Les états de l’air saturé sont situés sur cette
ligne.

Enthalpie spécifique, 7 (89/8; <′%>? /0.)=./&0. Les iso-lignes de l’enthalpie
spécifique (ℎ=./&0) et celles de température humide ( -@A=./&0) sont des lignes
droites inclinées de pente très voisines ( presque // ).
-

Volume massique, A('D/8; <′%>? /0.) . Les iso-lignes de volume massique (B=
./&0) sont des droites inclinées avec pente plus importante.
Remarque :
La température de rosée, (=E, pour l’air dans un état donné (un point sur le diagramme)

est déterminée en traçant une ligne horizontale à partir de ce point (2=./&0 et !B=
./&0). Cette ligne rencontre la ligne de saturation en un point ou -FG=-FA=-@A.
Avec un tel diagramme et en connaissant seulement deux caractéristiques de l’air, on
peut retrouver l’ensemble des propriétés de l’air humide.

Exemple d’application :
1.

Soit une chambre qui contient de l’air à != 1%&', -= 35 °+ et 4=40 %. En
utilisant le diagramme psychrométrique, déterminer : l’humidité absolue,
l’enthalpie, la température humide et la température de rosée.
2.

Déterminer, à l’aide du diagramme psychrométrique, l’état de l’air dans un local
(!= 1%&') où la température sèche -H=35 °+ et la température humide -I=
21 °+.

Température de rosée : c’est la température à partir de laquelle la vapeur d’eau
contenue dans l’air commence à se condenser quand l’air se refroidit. Autrement dit,

4. THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF WATER
AT SATURATION
Table 3 shows thermodynamic properties of water at saturation
for temperatures from –60 to 160°C, calculated using ASHRAE
(2021) LibHuAirProp software, based on IAPWS formulations
described in IAPWS R7-97 (2012), R10-06 (2009), and R14-08
(2011). The internal energy and entropy of saturated liquid water are
both assigned the value zero at the triple point, 0.01°C. Between the
triple-point and critical-point temperatures of water, both saturated
liquid and saturated vapor may coexist in equilibrium; below the
triple-point temperature, both saturated ice and saturated vapor
may coexist in equilibrium.
