3. COLD DESERT Cold desert : It is an area which is high, dry and flat area so it is called a cold desert . There are also snowcapped mountains and a cold , flat ground .

4. Ladakh Ladakh is only union territory which have cold desert . The house was made of stones and the wall were coated with a thick layers of mud and lime.

5. THE CHANGPAS Changpas – a tribe which live on the mountains . Changpas live on mountains at the height of 5,000 meters . Their goats are their only treasure .

6. REBO CHANGPAS HOUSE Rebo is the tent which designed more than thousand year ago . It held up wooden poles in the middle . The tent protected the Changpas from cold .

7. LEKHA Lekha is a place keep sheep and goats . The walls of lekha are made with stones. Lekha is important place for C hangpas tribe.

8. The PASHMINA A Pashmina shawl is as warm as 6 sweaters . It is very thin yet very warm . It found on very high altitudes of 5,000 meters. Weaving almost 250 hours ,one pashmina shawl is made .
