STYLES

TODAY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT FASHION

Fashion has changed a great deal over the past three
centuries. As history changes it seems that fashion in
some aspect changes with it to adapt to the era. Even
today fashion continues to change as the years go on.
Looking at fashion even 20 years ago we can see a
difference from what we see in our everyday lives.
HISTORY OF FASHION

VINTAGE

Strictly speaking, vintage fashion
would ideally be clothing that is at
least 25 to 30 years old, but this is
highly debatable now.
. Retro, short for retrospective, or
"vintage style" usually refers to
clothing that imitates the style of a
previous era. Most vintage clothing
has been previously worn, but a small
percentage of pieces have not. These
are often old warehouse stock, and
more valuable than those that has
been worn, especially if they have
their original tags.

PUNK

Punk first emerged in the mid-1970s
in London as an anarchic and
aggressive movement.About 200
young people defined themselves as
an anti-fashion urban youth street
culture. Anti-Fashion -Torn Fashion
Becomes Punk Fashion.

CASUAL

the casual clothes are informal
dresses that emphasize relaxation.
People wear them depending on the
occasion or weather. For example,
people wear beach shorts when they
go to the beach in the summer and
jackets if the weather turns cold.
Also they wear casual to go to work
or school. Casual clothes can be used
to give the mood of seriousness,
youthfulness, superiority in their
different combinations

ELEGANT

Elegant clothes are formal dresses
and characterized for glamour they
are worn at social events and formal
parties .These garments have the
ability to clearly demarcate social
status of people. For example, an
evening dress worn by a celebrity
cannot be afforded by an ordinary
person. Obviously, the most popular
of all type of clothes is the casual
clothing; this is due to its versatility
in which you can wear anywhere.

BLACK TIE

Black tie is a dress code for evening
events and social functions derived
from British and American costume
conventions of the 19th century.
Worn only for events after 6 p.m.,
black tie is less formal than white tie
but more formal than informal or
business dress.
Women's dress for black tie
occasions has varied greatly through
the years.

mysterious, exotic, and complex
features. It is worn by members of
the Goth subculture. A dark,
