JUSTIFICATION Breast cancer accounts for 14% of cancers in Indian women A 2018 report of Breast Cancer statistics recorded 1,62,468 new registered cases and 87,090 reported deaths Cancer survival becomes more difficult in higher stages of its growth, and more than 50% of Indian women suffer from stage 3 and 4 of breast cancer It is very much necessary to identify more and to pick up from high risk population

6. STUDY DURATION: 1 year S AMPLE SIZE: I NCLUSION CRITERIA: A ge > 25 yrs of age Palpable lump Mastalgia

7. EXCLUSION CRITERIA: Age < 25 years Persons not willing for screening

8. STUDY In general population >40 yrs – Mammogram In relatives of the patients of Carcinoma breast 25-29yrs – Clinical breast examination >30 yrs – Mammogram Genetic testing for BRCA mutation In relatives of the patients of Carcinoma breast
