Introduction Distance Education, often known as distance learning, is defined as a "type of education characterized by the physical separation of teachers and students during teaching and the use of various technologies to allow student-teacher and student-student contact" (Berg & Simonson, 2016). Different means of Distant Education includes the usage of radios, televisions, modules, or through online or the internet. This new medium of teaching clearly is new for all of us, as the medium is not common. Each individual has his/her own struggles with the new leaning modality. With the current issue at hand, the researcher will aim to provide answers to the questions in order to understand the issue. 2
Research Objectives Generally, this study will identify the common issues that the teachers are experiencing during distance learning. Specifically this study seeks to answer the following questions How ready is the school to offer distance learning in terms of: a. Learning resources b. Facilities c. Educators What are the challenges encountered by teachers as distance educator using distance learning as a form of learning modality? What are the coping strategies of Bacongco Elementary School educators in the implementation of distance learning? 3
