Django Demetri’s Projects
This is a quick introduction. For more, see the last slide.

Project 1: Smart Quad EV Charger (SQEC)
An electric vehicle (EV) charger that divides the power of a
single charger between four vehicles. This allows property
owners to meet growing demands while not requiring
permits/modifications on current, dated power grids.

Project 2: Automated CNC Door
(Summer Internship)
Purpose
White Industries Inc. needed to automate the doors on their
CNC routers and lathes to meet growing demand.

Project 2: Automated CNC Door

Controlled by host machine
Proximity safety
Scalable for other machines
Manuals for maintenance/troubleshooting
Pneumatic
Requirements
Requirement: Completed?

Project 2: Automated CNC Door

Finished Product (37 sec)

Project 3: Automated Boat
The county wanted a better way to collect data on water
sources.
Solution is GPS/remote controlled boat with mounted
sensors.
Purpose

Project 3: Automated Boat
GPS controlled
Remote controlled
Salinity, temperature, turbidity sensors
Motors with enough torque to overcome waves

Project 4: Heterodyne AM Receiver
To demodulate a 1kHz square wave with 50% AWGN with a
receiver built from scratch.
Purpose

Current Projects
Project 1:
Creating a neural network, (1000 neurons), in RTL on a PYNQ-Z2 using Vivado.
The entire neural network will be implementable. End goal is to help doctorates
compute high dimension design problems for CMOS transistors.
Project 2:
Stochastically modeling the channel response of an uncontrolled outdoor
environment, (potentially with a moving receiver). Aiming to develop a three
dimensional vector field with stochastic values as magnitudes.
Project 3:
Innovate design and sell the patent for the Smart Quad EV Charger.
