General Introduction Internet of Things ( IoT ) describes devices that are connected to the networks/ internet and exchanging/ sending data to the networks. In this project, a wireless connection is established between ESP8266 NodeMCU and smartphone. The doorlock system uses ESP8266 NodeMCU , Motor driver , 12-volt Universal Heavy Power Door Lock Actuator to lock and a smartphone. In this project, we have constructed an automatic door lock system and the connection between the Android app and the door lock system via wifi .
Objective of the Project The purpose of the project is to secure our assets and protect our valuable commodes in apartment/house by developing of secured door locking and unlocking system. The main objective of the project is to present a reliable door locking and unlocking system to be operated from any part of the world under utilization of the Arduino IDE platform and open source desired libraries.
