2. DYADIC COMMUNICATION DEFINITION Dyad means two things of similar kind or nature or group and dyadic communication means the inter-relationship between the two. . A lasting communication of ideas between two people for long duration of time or of any intensive duration of deeper impact may be called dyadic communication. . 2

Even if two persons are present in a situation, it is only two communicators that play a fundamental role. It is a person to person transaction and one of the commonest forms of speech communications. It provides an ideal conditions for close range continuous feedback. . 3
