STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM Friday, 23 August 2024 This research aims to provide a comprehensive, empirical investigation of dust impacts on solar panel performance through direct observation and measurement. The primary objectives of this study are: To systematically document the power output and natural accumulation of dust on PV solar panels over time. Develop and implement advanced image processing techniques to quantitatively measure the extent and characteristics of dust accumulation on PV solar panels. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of how dust accumulation correlates with changes in solar panel performance, examining the direct relationship between dust coverage and power output in daily, weekly and monthly in three-month tests. To measure the power efficiency of PV solar panels over daily, weekly, and monthly intervals in three months test.
