Introduction Learning has been flexible since the advent of technology. Even more so that pandemic happened where students are directed in using multimedia tools in learning. This study aims to study the efficacy of multimedia learning tools in the academic performance of the students specifically in the Grade 11 STEM students of St. Mary's College of Catbalogan.
Introduction The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of the multimedia learning tools in terms of the academic performance of the Grade 11 STEM students. This aims to study how effective is the use of these multimedia learning tools in the performance of the students.
Research Design This study will fall under the survey research. The researcher will be using survey questionnaires to gather the needed data for the study in order to arrive at the aim of this study. Questionnaires will contain open-ended questions, as well as scales of how effective are the multimedia learning tools and what type of multimedia learning tools are used.
Statistical Treatment of Data The researcher will be using the Descriptive Statistics in treating the data. This includes measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode) and dispersion (range, variance, standard deviation). Since, descriptive statistics can be used to generate summary reports of survey data. These reports can be used to understand responses’ distribution and identify outliers. Following the age range of the respondents and their sexes, the demographic profile of the respondents.
