What are integers? Integers are numbers that do not have any decimal parts The main feature is the symbol that precedes the number The set of all integers is designated by the capital letter Z -2 +1

How are integers divided? Integers are divided into: Positive numbers +1, +2, +3, … Negative numbers …, -3, -2, -1 The number zero +3 +5

How are integers represented? Integers are represented on a number line Negative numbers -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 Positive numbers +1 +2 +4 +3 +5 -3 -9

What kind of number is zero? Zero is an integer , but it is neither positive nor negative It symbolizes the null value, therefore it occupies a place where there is no specific value +4
