Ati-Atihan Festival in Aklan One of the most celebrated festivals in the Philippines is the Ati-Atihan festival in Kalibo, Aklan. Known for its lively street dancing, singing, and chanting, this festival is celebrated every January. Tourists join the natives in painting their faces with black soot and wearing the traditional outfit of the Aeta.
