What important information are written in the diary?
A diary is a written personal records of personal experiences, event, thoughts and feelings. It can be considered as a friend with whom you can be yourself and share your intimate thoughts and emotions.
The parts of the diary: 1. Date/day 2. Salutation ‘Dear Diary’ 3. Heading of the entry 4. Contents of the diary 5. Signature
Points to remember in writing a diary: 1. Creativity, imagination and expression in diary writing are tested. 2. You should write as if you have really been a part of the situation. 3. It is written in the first person. (I or We) 4. Pick a format. 5. Write the events in the correct order. 6. Only matters of some significance are recorded. 7. It is a secret record of one’s life, one can very honest about one’s feelings and emotions.
