What are correlative conjunctions? Definition: Correlative conjunctions are the conjunctions used in pairs, they connect two or more words, phrases, or clauses. You can either have cake or ice cream for dessert. Unlike other conjunctions, correlative conjunctions always come in pairs, with words between the two conjunctions.
